Race to Health

Jason said the other night that he would vote for George Bush if he were offering up universal health care. That is a pretty strong statement coming from him. We are supporters of Hillary Clinton, for the main factor that she is the ONLY candidate offering a plan for Universal Health Care. I believe strongly that we need a change in our health care system. There are no perfect systems out there in the world, but we are very low on the list ratings (I believe 38) in health care systems in the world.
Frontline aired a program last week titled "Sick Around the World" which was very interesting offering a view into a few countries health care system's, good and bad.
I believe that health care is a right, not a privilege. That no matter what you can not put a price on people's health. That no one should feel they deserve health care more than someone else because they can afford it. We should all pay tax to support one another. You like the library? You like the public school system? Those are socialist programs that made this country a leader at one time.
So hooray for Pennsylvania!
