For the past year I have been very frustrated on my inability to lose more weight. Despite the fact that I watch what I eat and exercise frequently the scale will not budge. I run, I spin, I swim, and weight train. NOTHING. No results. In fact, I am 10 pounds heavier than I was when I was training for the half-marathon last year. I am not eating differently, but I am not running 20 miles plus a week anymore.
I have tried to track my calories using Spark People (which is a great free site) but sitting down and entering everything I put in my mouth is too time consuming and I just don't keep up with it.
I need help.
I want to drop body fat and firm up. I want defined muscles. I want my love handles gone, my saddle bags. HELP.
So I may be insane, but after staring at this program for 2 weeks, I hit the join button yesterday.
I have joined: Adventure Boot Camp.
I tried to find others who would join the insanity with me, but no one signed on for the early morning challenge.
So, for a month, I will set my alarm for the early hour of 4:45 a.m. and go exercise from 5:30-6:30 a.m.
This will be a challenge for me on so many levels, mainly the getting up thing.
I work until 11 p.m. two days a week, so that puts me having about 4:45 min of sleep on some nights. It is only a month, and as of now I really can not whine. I will whine later, in the middle of the month.
I figure this is cheaper than a one-on-one personal trainer, and hopefully it will challenge me and change my body. Then I can take what I learned and apply it hear at home when I exercise.

Good luck Amie! I'm up at 4:30 everyday for work, so I feel your pain!
Yikes. Good Luck Amie..I would love to do it, but Steve leaves for work at 530, and I just can't find a sitter....Oh yeah, that, AND I am a big wimp. maybe if it were at 5pm and it included a post workout beer...now were talkin'!
That sounds awesome. I am stuck too so last week I started with a trainer. We will see how that goes......
Wow! Have fun! I'm up at 5:50 AM (but that's 6:50 your time) to work out here in my home or run in the neighborhood (yeah, just dreaming right now since it's snowing!!!!) I'm not bitter about that or anything...
