It's My Kind of Party

I am honored to say that a favorite (and famous.. their blog, WMAG, WAS in Real Simple) group of ladies gave me an award. They are great, and did I mention professional writers?

So, thank you WMAG for awarding me and introducing me to the other blogs that you mentioned. I will be reading them more often.
One in particular caught my reading eye, Sarah and the Goon Squad. First of all, her blog header is hilarious. I really wish I could have such a creative header, but I am no programmer or designer. Anyway, she is a funny writer and she made me discover this thing called Mommy Needs a Cocktail. This blog is funny and this woman is busy. She is not only blogging, using twitter, but she is interviewing other bloggers, making merchandise, and hosting parties. This party is called Mommy Needs a Cocktail Party. (she also has mommy needs a beer, mommy needs a latte, mommy needs a margarita parties). She has the full party low down on her blog, check it out it looks fun. I want her to come to my house and host a party! This should be the new party that replaces the ones we use as a front.
You know, Pampered Chef, jewelry parties, and Tastefully Simple. We only host these parties to have people over for food and drink and socialization. The closest one I could find to this was my wine party. I want a MNAC party NOW. I have my info in to host, we will see if I can. If not then I will just have to buy the merchandise. Check it out.
