I think that the car can be a great place to connect with you children, but it can also be a place of great annoyance. The screaming, the fighting, the joyous singing, or just incessant talking. Sometimes I turn up the radio (which is usually loserishly on NPR) to drown out their talking.
Frequently I have wished for the Limo privacy glass. You know, at the push of a button, I could roll up a tinted glass, sound proof window. Ahhhh peace. You can then, at the push of another button, quickly listen over the intercom to see what is going on or yell at them over that then quickly turning it back off.
I worked with a nurse who lived in a old Mason building and bought a Limo as their car. I thought, what a weirdo. Well, I think she was onto something. Buy a Limo. Seriously. Install some seat belts, have a TV, perhaps a fridge they can reach while still strapped in... and you have glass separation peace.

And look. ...
The Limo even comes in Mini Copper style.
You can't get much cooler than that.
So moms... Down with the Mini Van and Up with the Limo.
I think I might be onto something.
