After a little over a month break from blogging, I have just decided that I will be exiting the blogosphere. Where I used to check blogs everyday, as it was my then obsession, I find that I do not come to the blogosphere much anymore. I find that Facebook, social networking sites, are my new obsession. The social networking site serves a much quicker consolidated source of information and a connection highway that the blogosphere certainly lacks.
One of the reasons that I started the blog was to give out information to my out of town family and friends, and as my friends joined the blogosphere, it was in a way, my Internet social networking. Now that this technology has been "upgraded" in Facebook form, I must say goodbye to the old. I am retiring or promoting myself to keep up with technology.
And to help me justify my decision and as I was contemplating whether or not it was just me being lazy or my lack of attention span that Facebook seems to feed into... Wired published this article and sealed the deal!

Funny, I had this same thought the other day when I realized that 4 or 5 of the 7 people I know that read my blog are on Facebook. The others can just suffer!!! (We'll get them on Facebook eventually!)
Right on Jason!!!
I'll miss you! I loved keeping up with the funny stories, and insights into your career and family. It is the one area that Facebook cannot do. Or at least people aren't doing it yet.
But I feel the same way - I never go on blogs anymore and am considering quitting mine too.
Noooooooo....You are such a good writer...you are funny and witty and informative...dont go.....
