I Must Brag.

I must brag on my husband. He really is the best husband ever (most of the time).
We had made plans to have a "date night" on Friday because that is when our new across the street, don't have to driver her home babysitter could do it. So I knew we had plans to go out, probably our usual. Dinner and maybe a drink after. And I am not complaining about our usual. Cause dinner and drinks are my favorite.
So, he comes home Friday night with tickets to The Wine Festival, which is something we have always wanted to do. The Wine Festival was casual, and very overwhelming! There were over 150 booths there for you to taste wine. Needless to say we used the buckets to pour out our wine after tasting, or we would have had purple teeth and been slurring.
Jason also made reservations at a new restaurant in Covington (I know, you're skeptical cause ya'll Kentukians think Chez Nora and Pompilios have good food and they DON'T but this one just might be OK..) CHALK.
We headed to Chalk around 9 pm for our reservation and the food was pretty good. It is his (Jean Robert) "casual" restaurant. We wore jeans and it was fine. Really no one was dressed up (I am not a fan of dressing up, I am a jeans t-shirt kinda gal).
Jason's burger was very good, and I had the duck, and it was a little tough. Everything is a la cart, but the prices were fine, even for a la cart. I would try it again.
The icing on my date cake? Jason cleaned out his car and washed it, (for all that know him.. this is HUGE) and he bought me a gift. A surprise gift.
He is so sweet. I love my hubbie.

Sounds great, I'm very impressed. Jason made me feel almost that special in Cleveland. :-)

And Jason's car was CLEAN? A true gentleman.

I remember trying to impress my HS girlfriend by cleaning out my nappy brillo-grey '78 Celica before a date. It looked the same as when I started--just less french fry salt.

Well, your WIFE would be equally as impressed by a clean car.

And SHE puts out.
