I have been MIA over the past two weeks. My uncle David passed away last week and I traveled to South Carolina to attend the funeral. He was a young 57 and left 6 kids, a wife, and many others grieving his departure. Keep their family in your prayers.
I am now sitting here with Lily while she is camped out on the couch. Why you ask?
Yes, the stomach flu. She woke up last night after I got home from work and started the vomiting. Really this is her first time with the stomach flu. She was VERY upset the first round of vomiting, but was a champ by the end.
Of course, good timing, Jason is out of town for a TEAM BUILDING CAMPING TRIP at CAMP JOY. (insert non PC comments here _____).
He is THRILLED. NOT.
So he is gone until tomorrow night (upon which we have to jet out the door to his company Christmas party) nice timing... by the way.
So I sit here waiting for the other shoe to drop, the vomit shoe. Who is going to get it next?
Will it be me while I am alone with the kids? Will it be Jude? Or will Jason get to infect all of his coworkers with the stomach flu during Camp Joy bunking?
If he infects them.. it might be a slight sweet joy for making him sleep with 10-12 coworkers in a cabin. Enjoy.

Sleeping in the same cabin as coworkers?!? I can't think of anything I'd hate more. Except maybe a tent.
Send Jason my sympathies and here's hoping L get's better soon, you all stay healthy and the granola-lovin' j***a** that thought camping in Decmeber sounded fun gets a nasty [but treatable] virus. It is the holidays after all.
