OK. So today I sent Lily off to preschool. No where near as hard as putting Jude on a bus.
However, I was sad that she told me to give her a hug and kiss and she would stay there herself. Translation:
Get out mom.
So, I left her in her room with her teachers and her classroom pet Guinea Pig.
She has been so excited to go to school wearing her Princess backpack.
She is too cute.
When she was dropped off at home, she comes yelling up the walk..
"Mom, I have a good day at school!".
I am happy.

TOO CUTE! That first pic is begging to be the first in a chronice of "first day of school" pics you take and later torment her with at such times as high school graduation, college graduation and then her wedding.

When I got home today Tim had this picture on the computer when I went into the room and I can't tell you how much it brightened up my day and made me smile! :) I WISH ALL MY KIDS WERE THAT HAPPY TO GO TO SCHOOL ON THE FIRST DAY!!! Just kidding...well, maybe a little....
jack-on-the-lake took the words right out of my mouth! I looked at the picture and saw a little Amie! It is a CUTE picture. (So is the picture of Jude on the bus his first day).
Did it rain there?? It didn't down here.
