When is the last time you had mud all the way up your legs, did a slip in slide, or rode a tricycle? Kids have all the fun! Well my friend Mollie and I got to participate in good kid fun in Loveland's Amazing Race on Sat. June 16th. This was a race, but not necessarily an athletic ability race. This was 4 miles on bike and 4 miles on foot, all split up by 20 challenge stations.
The challenge stations consisted of racing another team to build a house out of blocks, canoe and ring a bell, race across the Little Miami with a float to the Loveland Castle to find clues and ATTEMPT to shoot archery.. which I can not do by the way. Your partner has to shoot you across the parking lot on a big tricycle by shooting you with a fire hose of water, a HUGE slip in slide with water and Dawn ( we flew 4 feet off in the grass and had mud a grass ALL over.. fun). We had to hold a egg on a spoon while walking in a deep mud pit and then go through one of those bouncy house things that kids play in.... plus many more events. After the race there was a complete meal and party in the park.

The whole race took about 2 1/2 hours. It was SO much fun. We will definitely participate next year. You should sign up and you can get dirty and have fun like a kid too.

That sounds like a blast. I have heard nothing but good things about that race.
PS.... Marty is a slip - n- slide champion...
Marty should try this slip n slide.. you must grab a tennis ball off the line above the slip n slide as you fly down it...

My friend, Sue did the race, too. Her partner backed out, so she asked me to fill in. But, I was leaving for vacation. It sounded fun! I want to do it next year.
