Easter was fun a great time despite all of the cold, snow flurry weather. The kids are growing up and I find that doing activities with them is much easier and enjoyable at their ages. We colored Easter eggs for the first time. Let me tell you there are A LOT of options for Easter egg coloring kits out there. Tattoo ones, tie dye, etc... I just want the average, color your egg kit. Phew.. finally found it. So we dyed the eggs (despite my not following the directions completely... I am bad for that) they turned out well. The eggs had to dry before we could put stickers on them (it took 2 days in the refrigerator) but the kids were good about it.

While we waited for the eggs to finish in their color water we baked the pre cut Easter cookies (love it).
They were able to pour their own frosting on them, and Christmas sprinkles. Yes, that is all I had. So we had Easter cookies with Christmas sprinkles. Whatever.

Thursday evening brought our friends the Hemmigs to town from Wisconsin. They stayed with us from Thursday to Sunday. We really enjoyed the time we had to spend with them.
Saturday we took the kids (WOW IT WAS COLD) to an Easter egg hunt in Lebanon. Our friends Molly and Jack took us to that activity. They always know about the good kids activities that the Fire Departments sponsor. Molly's husband is a captain for Loveland Symmes and they gives us the scoop. It is great. Despite the chilling wind, the
egg hunt was fun.
egg hunt was fun.
Easter Sunday we spent the evening with Jason's family, which is always enjoyable. The kids love seeing their 16 cousins....
Happy Easter!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like you guys had a ton of fun. We did eggs too. It was a little harder for us. Brady kept trying to "bounce" the eggs like balls. Needless to say we didn't end up with to many eggs to leave out for the Easter Bunny.
