On Sunday I finished the Heart Mini 15K. WOW was it hard. 9.3 miles of HILLS. I swear I thought I would never finish. I hit mile 7 and just lost all energy. I ran, but walked more at this point than I would have liked. My time was not what I wanted and I am disappointed, but I will work harder for the Country Music 1/2 Marathon in 4 weeks.
Jude ran the 2K kids run. He had his own number and his own race chip. He was so excited.
How fun for him. He really enjoyed it! It is so fun watching him try to be like us! They are so impressionable! I should enjoy this time when he wants to be like us, because it won't be long before he wants to be the opposite of us!

Wow that is great. That is 9 more miles than I could complete. How great that you got your son involved. SMB loves to copy his dad. They are so impressionable.
