TWO TIMES TO THE DOCTOR

WELL VISIT, SICK VISIT

This Monday Lily had her 6 month well visit. She weighed in at 24 lbs and 30 inches with a hat size of 18 inches. So she continues to grow!
I worked Wednesday and Thursday, but had to go in late due to Jude's fever that started Wednesday afternoon. Grandpa Duke helped out and watched them for me on Wednesday to bridge the gap between me and Jason's schedules.
The fever continued into Friday and Jude stopped eating and drinking because his throat was bothering him. Friday, back to the pediatrician for a sick visit. I suspected that he had strep throat, but instead....hand, foot, and mouth disease. Jason says, hoof and mouth what? Now a cowasakie virus that only effects children and you can get blisters on your hands, feet and inside mouth and throat. His were, thankfully, only in the throat. Today he is better. Eating some, drinking some. Lily, so far, is free of the virus. I hope it stays that way!
