Thanksgiving 2004.
This was the year to travel to Chicago for Thanksgiving. We left on Tuesday to avoid traffic and stayed until Saturday, again to avoid traffic.
We had a great time in Chicago for Thanksgiving. My grandmother, Sue, traveled in from South Carolina to visit us and see the grandchildren. She hadn't seen Lily or Libby, and had not seen Jude or Austin in 2 years.
Jason and I got some shopping time in (without kids) and spent some time alone in the car during rush hour in the Thanksgiving Eve snow shower.
