This week I am running around trying to get us ready to leave for vacation. I am happy to do it, because I need a vacation bad. I haven't taken a week off of work since last August and my husband is in desperate need of a week away from his work too. We are so excited to take our kids to NYC and show them the town, they are so curious of this big city we go to visit. We are even more excited to spend a week with our good friends, Angel and Tim (who are in France for 10 days at this time, see my blog link to their trip).
My panic is that when we get back from our eagerly awaited vacation, summer will almost be over. That sucks. I am enjoying sleeping in until 8 (yes, that is late for us), not having to get up and go in the morning(this is the joy of me working later hours too), going to bed later, and just enjoying the joys of summer. We go to Kings Island frequently, the pool, free days with our friends, and just outside playtime.
Summer is just flying by, and I am sad. Soon it will be school time, fall, and then cold weather again. This, I am not happy about.

SO wish I could make it up to NYC! I can't believe how tall it looks like Jude is now. The only time I saw him he was dragging himself around the floor not having learned to crawl yet! Have fun up there!
I am with you on thisone. The summer has been flying by. I can't believe that school starts back up in just a few weeks.
Our summer is flying too! I had a hard time adjusting in June...and the kids had a hard time adjusting to each other! But we finally have a routine down. They fight, but I guess that is what siblings do, so I do look forward to a break in the fall! And I do have Tyler to enjoy still!
You make your kids seem so sweet...really do they fight and bicker like mine ALL day if you don't entertain them?
