Cousins

The week of August 13th included our annual visit from my sister and her two children, Austin and Libby.
Austin is 6 and Libby is 3. This makes for a wonderful visit, our children play together, and really we don't have to entertain them much, giving us a lovely break.
Monday we went swimming at our pool, Tuesday a lovely trip to the zoo (the weather was wonderful), and Wednesday, a trip to the park. In between the trips, there was a lot of pretend play going on in our house, especially with the girls. I believe that if we were home, they were in princess attire the entire time.

The favorite dress up item? Shoes. You hear clickity, clackity, click as they walk in their plastic princess shoes. What did they look like? Mrs. Wiggins from the Carol Burnett show.. absent the gum and fingernail file.
I have no idea how I didn't manage to get a picture of this?

They are two peas in a pod. They played so well together, and I am guessing have the potential to get into trouble together.
They were two giggling school girls, night and day.

The boys picked out to dress the same.

Not us. Whatever? They are funny. They had a great time together.
We can't wait until the next time.
