I had to say goodbye to my friend Angel again today. She was in to visit me from NYC. Angel and I met through Jason and his roomate in 1995. We became great friends and then roomates. I helped her drive her Budget rental van to NYC when she moved their in 2001. We make it a point to visit eachother once a year. I go there once, she comes here once.
It is a great plan! Heck I get NYC, and she gets a break from the city..
She is such a wonderful friend. She has no kids, and we have never had a split because I have them. She is so great with my kids when she comes, and they LOVE her. She is a adopted aunt.
I hate to see her go. It sucks. I really miss her.

That sucks! Sorry you are feeling down - I get like that when I leave Cincy too. I miss all of you! It is just not the same here....
My girlfriends and I have a similar agreement. Two of us live here, one in San Diego and one in Nashville. Every year we do a "girls only trip". For the most part we rotate visiting each other but do it as a group so it's like old times. Some of the best memories of my life.
