
I am stuck at 160 pounds. I am happy with what I have lost, I have dropped from a 14/16 to a 6/8, but can not get past 160# . STUCK. And it pissed me off. I have increased my mileage. I really don't eat bad, I do indulge, but I watch what I eat. I refuse to be miserable and not be able to eat some good items. WHATEVER. So I read an article about increasing dietary calcium will help reduce your weight (not a supplement, but ingesting the dairy). I am not a milk fan really, but I will drink a glass and eat yogurt to decrease the weight. Also, increasing your dietary fiber will help lose weight too. So I bought NERD cereal. 5 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber per bowl. That is a lot of fiber in one sitting for cereal. The average cereal has 2-3 grams if you are lucky. We won't discuss what this fiber does to your body when you first start eating it! Oh my, hopefully we adjust. : ) It does taste good, which was a concern when I randomly bought these! And being brave, I bought them at Costco (my friend Karri branded me a Costco whore... and I wear the title proudly). The Nerd cereal title stems from my attempt to make my children whole wheat pancakes. Yeah, not so yummy. They ate them, I wouldn't touch them. The consistency, ohhhh, yuck. They were good if you like grainy, thick peices of dry bread being passed off as a pancake. Lets just not try to make pancakes healthy.
Anyway, lets see if the increase in miles and nerd food work? Will I get past 160? Will I stay?
