THE WILDERNESS

OK, so we moved to Butler County. Anything other than Hamilton County is always the brunt of jokes in Cincinnati. I can walk across the street, however, and be in Hamilton County. I am starting to see the difference...
So we in our yard yesterday and what did we see? Yes, a coyote.... a baby coyote, but none the less, a coyote. Thank goodness our cat is still alive after spending many nights outside.
So... we also have seen a TURKEY VULTURE in the past week. WHAT? Yes, a Turkey Vulture eating roadkill. WHAT THE HECK? We frequently have deer and hawks flying above our home.
SO, yes, I guess it is different in Butler County... who knew? It is like a regular field trip, right in our own back yard.
