I HATE WINTER

GREEN IS FOR SPRING

I ask Jude, "what can't mommy wait for?", and he replies, "SUMMER".
I always ask him this as I am struggling to buckle both kids into the car seats while they wear their puffy winter coats. Of course this is done while rain, snow or just plain cold wind is pelting me because we have no garage to park the car inside.
Another reason that I hate winter, ILLNESS.
Stress #1 in my life, trying to coordinate dual work schedules and daycare around illness. I drew the short straw and had to call in today.
Please come spring and summer.
Jude came down with the flu last Thursday, we thought he was getting better on Monday and her relapsed on Tuesday, so off to the Pediatrician yesterday. Just a horrible virus.
Then last night, Lily gets the fever. I should count my blessings this is not the GI virus going around ( I probably just jinxed us).
So, today has been spent constantly holding a poor sick baby, who can only cry or sleep.
With my free hands(as if I have any) I have been disciplining Jude for his horrible behavior.
He has torn up a book (twice and he hasn't done this since he was like 14 months old), hit Lily with his Little People Garage (which is now in the basement) and just been needy and emotional.
So today is almost more than I can handle and it is only 3pm. Thank goodness for naps, right now I have some peace.
The children can only be glad they are cute........
To make the week worse, Jason was out of town for the beginning three days of the week.
So we have been TRAPPED INSIDE. Which I am sure is to account for some of Jude's fabulous behavior this week.
HELP.
Did I say, I can't wait for summer?
